PRESENTAZIONE IN ITALIANO
Paolo Cairo è uno studente al secondo anno di laurea magistrale in Management Engineering al Politecnico di Milano e partecipa al programma internazionale QTEM (Quantitative Techniques for Economics & Management) Masters Network. Nato e cresciuto a La Spezia, si diploma all’I.T.I. “G. Capellini” in Informatica e Telecomunicazioni nel 2018 per poi trasferirsi a Milano, dove frequenta il corso di laurea triennale in Ingegneria Gestionale. Si sta ora specializzando in finanza coltivando anche altri temi quali operations aziendali, energy management e sostenibilità. Negli ultimi anni, Paolo ha avuto inoltre l’opportunità di studiare presso la Technische Universität München, Mines ParisTech e Università degli studi di Genova seguendo la sua passione per l’analisi di problemi complessi e la data science. Da 3 anni è associato e dirige in qualità di Presidente il SCOUT Consulting Club PoliMI, un club tematico tramite cui gli studenti più brillanti sono accompagnati nella preparazione per i processi di selezione per le società di consulenza strategica. Oltre alla vita professionale, Paolo è un appassionato di geopolitica e tecnologia, film e libri di saggistica, nonché un giocatore di sport con racchetta.
ENGLISH PRESENTATION
Paolo Cairo is a student in the second year of a master's degree in Management Engineering at the Politecnico di Milano and participates in the international program QTEM (Quantitative Techniques for Economics & Management) Masters Network. Born and raised in La Spezia, he graduated from the I.T.I. "G. Capellini ”in Computer Science and Telecommunications in 2018 and then moved to Milan, where he attended the three-year degree course in Management Engineering. He is now specializing in finance, also cultivating other topics such as corporate operations, energy management and sustainability. In recent years, Paolo has also had the opportunity to study at the Technische Universität München, Mines ParisTech and the University of Genova following his passion for the analysis of complex problems and data science. For 3 years he has been associated and directs as President the SCOUT Consulting Club PoliMI, a thematic club through which the brightest students are accompanied in preparing for the selection processes for strategic consulting companies. In addition to his professional life, Paolo is passionate about geopolitics and technology, films and non-fiction books, as well as a racket sports player.
